All fuel tanks, pumps and filtering systems were pre-outfitted below the main deck in separate, fire-proof compartments, as was much of the wiring and plumbing.

Much of the main deck wiring was also installed before the engines arrived. In all, Cascade General fitted seven miles of piping and thirty-five miles of wiring.
