Cascade General is located at Portland Shipyard in Portland, Oregon. This facility is owned by its sister company, Shipyard Commerce Center, giving Cascade General full access to all state-fo-the-art equipment and infrastructure. With several decades of experience, the company brings a rich tradition of excellence to every ship that is repaired. We have serviced every type of vessel sailing the seas. Our skilled workforce understands the intricacies of timing and scheduling as well as the need for tight controls and coordination.

• 550,000 square feet (51,096 m2) of craft shops

• Two state-of-the-art machine shops with three overhead cranes, 11 lathes with capacity up to 60" (152 cm) and lengths up to 38 feet (11.5 m), six milling machines, four grinders, five drill presses, planers, shapers and lapping machines

• Full-service pipe and sheetmetal shops equipped to fabricate, repair, bend, burn, shear and install all materials to any size

• Valve shop servicing all types, materials and sizes

• Large surface preparation and coating facility

• Electrical and electronic repair facility capable of fiber optic cable installation

• Structural fabrication shop to roll, press and cut heavy steel plates and structures to any size

• Special barge to perform in-water rudder removal (30-ton capacity)
